How Acupoint Deck works
Everything you can do here, and how each part helps you — whether you're looking after yourself at home or studying the points.
Acupoint Deck brings four wellness traditions into one free, multilingual reference: acupuncture, single-point therapy, needle-free acupressure, and flower medicine — plus a clickable body map. Nothing to install, no account needed, and it even works offline. Here's a tour.
🔎 Find by Condition — start here
WhatOne search that looks across every approach at once.
HowOn the Home page, type a complaint — "headache", "insomnia", "back pain" — and hit Find. The search understands everyday words too: try "belly ache", "can't sleep" or "sadness".
BenefitYou instantly see the matching acupuncture protocol, single point, acupressure spot, flower remedy and AYUSH herb — side by side, no hunting through tabs, and no need to know the medical term.
⭐ Point of the Day
WhatA different acupuncture point featured on the Home page every day — its name meaning, meridian, element and main uses.
HowJust visit the Home page; tap "See full details" to open the point.
BenefitLearn one point a day — a little micro-lesson that builds your knowledge over time.
🈶 TCM Acupuncture — the full reference
WhatAll 361 classical points across the 14 meridians, with location, needling, actions, indications and cautions.
HowOpen TCM Acupuncture, then browse by meridian, search by symptom, build point combinations, or look up a condition protocol.
BenefitA complete, quick study aid for students and practitioners — the depth that makes everything else trustworthy.
👆 Self-care vs 💉 Practitioner view
WhatEvery point detail has a toggle so the instructions suit you.
HowOpen any point and tap Self-care (how to press it with a finger) or Practitioner (the needling depth & angle).
BenefitBeginners get simple pressing instructions; practitioners get the clinical detail — no jargon in the way.
🎯 Single-Point Treatment
WhatOne well-chosen point for a complaint — the classical minimalist approach.
HowOpen Single point and search a condition or browse the groups (everyday, emergency, Jing-Well, Back-Shu, Xi-Cleft).
BenefitFast, focused relief options when you want just one effective point.
👆 Acupressure — self-care + ⏱ Timer & 🎧 Guided sessions
WhatCurated points you can press with a finger for everyday complaints — headaches, nausea, tension, cramps, sleep.
HowOpen Acupressure, find your concern, read "how to press", then tap ⏱ Hold on a point for a countdown timer — or tap ▶ Guided session on any group for a hands-free, voice-led walk-through with breathing cues (like a mini meditation).
BenefitSafe, drug-free relief you can do yourself at home — the guided voice and timer keep you on track so you hold each point long enough.
🕐 Organ Clock (body clock)
WhatA live clock on the Home page showing which meridian is most active right now — in TCM, energy peaks in each organ at a set 2-hour window.
HowJust open the Home page; it reads your local time and highlights the active organ with a timely tip.
BenefitA gentle daily nudge — e.g. "Stomach time, great for breakfast" — and a reason to check in each day.
☯ Five Elements wheel
WhatAn interactive Wu Xing wheel — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water — that ties together the meridians, emotions, seasons and flower remedies of each element.
HowOpen the Five Elements card on the Home page and tap any element to see what it governs; tap a meridian to browse it, or a flower to open it.
BenefitSee how acupuncture, emotions and flower medicine connect — the "why" behind the pairings.
🌸 Flower Medicine — Bach & AYUSH
What38 Bach flower remedies for emotional balance, 47 concern-based blends, and 12 medicinal Flowers of AYUSH for physical ailments.
HowOpen Flower medicine, search a feeling ("fear", "grief") or a concern, and open any flower for its uses and how to take it.
Point pairingEach Bach flower now shows a paired acupuncture point for the same emotional state (e.g. Agrimony → PC6, Holly → HT5, Mimulus → KI24/25) — from the Flower Acupuncture System. Tap the point to see its location, or open a point to see its matching flower. Apply the flower remedy on the point, or simply press it.
BenefitGentle, complementary support for mood and wellbeing, bridging flowers and acupuncture. Tip: browse a meridian under TCM and its element's flower remedies appear right alongside the points.
🎯 AR Point Finder BETA
WhatUse your phone camera to find points on your own body. A live target locks onto hand points (LI4, PC8, SI3, LU10, HT8, TE3, SI1), face points (Yintang, Taiyang, BL2, TE23, ST2, LI20, GV26, ST4, ST6), arm points (PC6, LI11) and leg points (ST36, SP6, KI3, LV3).
HowOpen 🎯 Finder from the menu, or tap “Find on my body” inside a supported point. Allow the camera, aim it at the body part, and line it up in the box — a buzz & chime confirm the lock and the ring turns green.
BenefitTakes the guesswork out of locating a point for self-care. Everything runs on your device — no video is uploaded or saved.
NoteIt’s a locating aid, not a medical device — the marker is an estimate, so always confirm against the point’s diagram and description before pressing.
📍 Body Map
WhatClickable anatomical figures across ~20 views — hand, arm, foot, leg, torso, back, head and ear.
HowOpen Body map, pick a view, and click any dot to open that point's details.
BenefitFind a point visually when you know roughly where it is but not its code.
📏 How to measure points — the “cun” system
WhatEvery location here is given in cun — a proportional “body-inch” scaled to each person (e.g. “3 cun above the inner ankle”), not a fixed centimetre.
HowMeasure with finger-widths on the person's own hand — thumb = 1 cun, four fingers together = 3 cun — or divide the body into fixed proportions.
BenefitLocate any point accurately on any body size. See the full illustrated cun guide →
⚠️ Safety & contraindications
WhatThe essential do's and don'ts — including points to avoid in pregnancy.
HowRead the safety page before using any point on yourself or a patient.

Point locations, needling depths and indications are summarised study aids and must be cross-checked against an authoritative source (such as the WHO Standard Acupuncture Point Locations) and adapted to the individual before clinical use. Acupressure and flower remedies are gentle self-care, not a treatment for disease. Some points are marked to avoid in pregnancy.
