This Privacy Policy explains how Acupoint Deck (“the app”, “this site”) handles information when you use it. In short: the app is a static reference tool that does not collect personal information and does not require an account.
1. Information we do not collect
- We do not ask for or store your name, email, phone number or any personal or health information.
- There are no user accounts, no logins and no profiles.
- We do not sell, rent or share any information with third parties.
2. Information stored only on your device
The app saves your language preference (English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu or Kannada) in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. This stays on your own device, is not transmitted to us, and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser data.
If you use the built-in translation helper, it runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded.
3. Cookies & analytics
The app itself does not set tracking cookies. If analytics or advertising are added in future, this policy will be updated to describe them and, where required, ask for your consent.
4. Hosting & server logs
The site is hosted on a standard web host (Hostinger). Like most websites, the hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information in server logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the service running. This is handled under the hosting provider’s own privacy practices.
5. External images & content
All images, diagrams and data are served from this site; the app does not embed third-party trackers.
6. Children
The app is a general educational reference and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
7. Medical information note
Any health conditions you look up are processed only in your browser to show reference content — they are not recorded or sent anywhere. Please still read our Terms & Conditions: the content is educational only and must be verified against authoritative sources (e.g. WHO Standard Acupuncture Point Locations) before clinical use.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
