Terms & Conditions of Use
Last updated: July 2026
Acupoint Deck (“the app”, “this site”) is a free educational quick-reference for acupuncture, acupressure, single-point therapy and flower medicine. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Point locations, needling depths, angles and indications shown here are summarized for quick study and may contain simplifications or errors. Before any clinical use you must cross-check each point against an authoritative source — in particular the WHO Standard Acupuncture Point Locations in the Western Pacific Region, and a standard text such as Deadman & Al-Khafaji’s A Manual of Acupuncture — and adapt to the individual patient. Never rely on this app alone to locate or needle a point.
1. Educational use only — not medical advice
The content is provided for general information and study. It is not medical, diagnostic or treatment advice, and it is not a substitute for examination, diagnosis and treatment by a qualified, licensed healthcare or acupuncture practitioner. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional regarding any medical condition. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you have read here.
2. Professional practice & safety
- Needling (acupuncture) should only be performed by appropriately trained and licensed practitioners using sterile technique. Incorrect needling carries real risks (e.g. pneumothorax at chest/back points, nerve or vessel injury).
- Certain points are contraindicated in pregnancy or in other circumstances. Caution notes in the app are not exhaustive — confirm contraindications for every patient.
- This app is not for medical emergencies. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
3. Flower medicine & AYUSH content
The Bach flower remedies are a complementary self-help practice for emotional balance and are not a treatment for medical or psychiatric illness. The Medicinal Flowers of AYUSH are a traditional-medicine reference; many are potent herbs and should be used only under a qualified AYUSH / traditional-medicine practitioner. Element and emotion correspondences are interpretive bridges, not rigid rules.
4. Accuracy & no warranty
While prepared with care, the content is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Photographs and body-map diagrams are illustrative aids and may not be precisely accurate; use the written location and an authoritative text for the exact point.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creators and operators of this app shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or its content. You use the app entirely at your own risk and professional judgement.
6. Intellectual property
Point nomenclature follows the WHO standard and classical TCM sources. You may use the app for personal study and reference. Do not reproduce the app wholesale or present it as a substitute for formal training or an authoritative clinical text.
7. Changes
These terms and the app’s content may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
